Know your Country
Indian cultural heritage exemplifies vibrant medley of people belonging to different traditions, religions, culture, customs, cuisines, and languages. All in all, we can call India as a melting pot of different moral, values, culture and traditions. India is a perfect blend of such elements which are responsible for the peaceful coexistence of Indians from diverse social, religious and cultural background. In order to reflect all their learnings from the activity Know Your Country our little explorers organized an Exhibition representing different zones covering their climate, languages, clothing, culture, festivals food specialties, places of interest, flora and fauna etc. A field trip to Lucknow was organized for grade 4 to 6 whereas Grades of 1 to 3 were taken to Nana Rao Park Located in Bithoor to make their learning about their country more lively and practical
We celebrated the auspicious occasion of Dussehra with limitless fun and excitement.
The traditionally attired little Dishapedians added colour and flavour to the festive celebration.
The day started with the enactment of legendary story of Lord Rama and how good won over the evil. The children assimilated the entire story with great interest and awe. Our little ones narrated the ‘Chopaies’ of Ramayana and sang lovely song in the praise of Lord Rama.
Keeping the festive spirit alive we #bursted the eco friendly #effigy of #Ravana which added a new colour to the occasion.

At disha we completed our first field trip of grade 1-5.. “Visit to Parle G” factory.. we initiated this process in the month of october wherein we wanted the kids to understand the procedure of packaging, distribution, history behind parle, machines and much more.. it was a non curricular activity but honestly after completion of this project we feel so happy that because of such activity we can see the difference not only in our kids but also in our teachers.. kids writing down their reflection after each brainstorming was such a surprising moment for us.. we have tried to capture some shots..

Students were made aware of how beautiful 👌🏻 our planet was but today we have changed it into a dumping ground 😔. How animals , birds 🐦 all are suffering because of us.
Our promise is not meant to be broken

Field Trip (HBTI Campus)
We always talk about live examples…. How about to set it.🙂
Yes!! Disha is on track to set it.
This is not first time but yes moving on this route we got an 💡 idea to make toddlers learn about plants and for this we took them to C.S.A.U garden.
Classes in open…. Near 🌲trees…. You are imagining it…. Just visit the place and imagination becomes true and learning becomes more fun. It wasn’t an easy task to explain about horticulture and nursery to the nursery kids but yes…the example was enough to explain them.
#beautiful field trip #conceptual learning 😇
DOODLE FOR GOOGLE
Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence… as we all know that opportunities come once.. Every year google brings the #opportunity for kids to think outside the box..
#DoodleForGoogle… ummm what is doodle and why it is related with google.. soo Google doodle is a temporary logo of google and our children have to make google doodle.. they have to draw their imagination on the theme “#whatInpiresMe” on the logo of the google….
Dishaकृति : A dream to green the nature…..
The whole event was by the kids, of the kids and for the kids… A cup of #hardwork a teaspoon of #patience…100ml of #labour and all together made a wonderful recipe of dishaकृति🙂
It was a thorough #enjoyment and a big learning for all of us.. All our children and teachers displayed their learning in the event.. #thank you #parents for all your support.🙂
Young little scientists at #Disha
So, the story started when we being great followers of the creativity and imagination noticed a very innovative thing budding up in one of our branches of NLK Group of Schools, we observed few videos on facebook regarding the experiments kids have been doing lately. We requested the branch head to send their children to our campus so that they can inspire our kidos. We are extremely happy to share that now our kidos have started preparing the experiments from the waste material and have started showing it to each other.
Autism is not a disability, it is a different ability
To understand this ability more deeply #Dishapedians indulged in an interactive session with PKMC staff members, wherein they got aware about special education and different therapies offered there..they even visited #PKMC for better understanding.
The creative minds used their imagination and designed the logos for Autism Awareness..and that’s not enough our little reformers also took initiative and participated in a rally spreading awareness about autism near Zoo.
First day of the Session 2019-20.
First few days of the school for preschool seem to be scary for kids who enter the premises for the first time, so we tried to make a day full with fun activity for kids.
We tried give toddlers a chance to play, run and explore themselves through various activities like #ball dabbing, #doodling on doodle Hut, getting #Tattoos collect their first #paint strokes and letting them dance and play freely in the sand. Kids enjoyed the day and were the happiest watching the candy man making cotton candy and we were the happiest to collect theirs and gobble it up.
